Getting Started
What is MyEvitation?
MyEvitation is a digital invitation website service. We create beautiful, personalised invitation websites for weddings, birthdays, baby showers, real estate events, and more. Instead of a paper invite, you get a stunning website that your guests can visit on any device.
How does it work?
It's simple: choose a template, select your package, complete payment, and send us your event details. We personalise the template with your information and deliver your invitation website within 48 hours. You then share the link with your guests.
Do I need any design or technical skills?
No, none at all. We handle all the design and technical work. You just need to provide your event details — names, date, location, and any photos you'd like to include.
What types of events do you support?
We create invitation websites for: weddings, engagement parties, baby showers, birthday parties (all ages), real estate open houses and grand openings, corporate events, and more. If you have a special event, contact us and we'll help.
Templates & Design
Can I see a preview before ordering?
Yes! Every template has a live demo you can view before ordering. Click "View Demo" on any template card to see the full invitation website.
Can I change the template after ordering?
Yes, you can request a template change before we start building your invitation. Once we've started personalising, changes may incur an additional fee.
Can I customise the colours or fonts?
Minor colour and font adjustments are possible on the Premium and Custom packages. For full design freedom, the Custom package gives you a completely bespoke design.
Can I add my own photos?
Yes! You can send us your photos and we'll incorporate them into your invitation. The Premium package includes a photo gallery section.
What sections can I add to my invitation?
Available sections include: event schedule/programme, gift registry links, Google Maps integration, countdown timer, photo gallery, FAQ for guests, accommodation guide, and more. The Premium package includes 2 additional sections of your choice.
Delivery & Process
How long does it take to receive my invitation?
Most invitations are delivered within 24–48 hours after we receive your event details. Rush delivery (24 hours) is available as an add-on for €20.
What happens after I pay?
After payment, you'll receive a confirmation email. We'll contact you within a few hours to collect your event details via a simple form or email. Once we have everything, we build your invitation and send you the link within 48 hours.
How many revisions are included?
Template package includes 1 revision, Premium includes 2 revisions, and Custom includes unlimited revisions. Additional revisions can be purchased for €15 each.
What if I'm not happy with the result?
We want you to love your invitation. If you're not satisfied, we'll work with you to make it right within your included revision rounds. If you're still not happy after revisions, contact us and we'll find a solution.
Domain & Hosting
Where will my invitation be hosted?
Template package invitations are hosted on our domain: myevitation.com/your-event-name. Premium and Custom packages include a custom domain (e.g. johnandsarah.com).
Can I use my own domain?
Yes! The Premium package includes a custom domain. You can also add a custom domain to the Template package for €15. We handle all the domain setup for you.
How long will my invitation stay online?
Your invitation stays online for 12 months from the delivery date. After that, you can renew hosting for a small annual fee. For most events, 12 months is more than enough.
Can guests access the invitation on their phone?
Yes, all our invitation websites are fully mobile-optimised. They look beautiful on smartphones, tablets, and desktop computers.
RSVP & Features
Do you support RSVP?
Yes, all packages include an RSVP form. Guests can submit their response directly on the invitation website. You receive an email notification for each RSVP.
Can I track who has RSVPed?
Yes, you'll receive email notifications for each RSVP. We can also set up a simple RSVP summary that you can access anytime.
Can guests share the invitation?
Yes, all invitations include a WhatsApp share button and can be shared via any messaging app, email, or social media.
Can I add a countdown timer?
Yes! A countdown timer is available as part of the Premium package or as an add-on. It shows guests how many days until your event.
Can I add a music player?
Yes, a background music player is available on the Custom package or as an add-on for €10. Many couples love adding their favourite song to their wedding invitation.
Payment & Pricing
How much does it cost?
Our packages start from €39 for the Template package, €69 for Premium (includes custom domain), and €199 for a fully custom design. All are one-time payments with no subscriptions.
Is there a subscription or recurring fee?
No. All our packages are one-time payments. There are no monthly fees or subscriptions. Hosting is included for 12 months.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe. Stripe is a secure, industry-standard payment processor.
Do you offer refunds?
If we haven't started work on your invitation yet, we can offer a full refund. Once work has begun, we'll work with you to ensure you're satisfied. Contact us at hello@myevitation.com.
